Why Don’t Men Go To Church Anymore?

Wintery Knight has just posted this excellent analysis of why men are abandoning what can only be described as “churchian franchises.”

Although this has been an ongoing trend for the last few decades, I believe that another recent contribution to the trend that has further accelerated it has been the church’s less-than-valiant-and-scriptural reaction to the ongoing “Covidiocy” of the last few months.  Such a reaction has “female fear” written all over it, something that men look upon with disdain.  Displays of cowardice, dear pastors, is NOT the way to attract men to the cause of Christ, or motivate them to join you in advancing it!

Just an ordinary, flawed man grateful for the redemptive blood of Jesus who struggles to extend the forgiveness and understanding to others with which he has been blessed.

  1. You don’t have to be very perceptive to figure out that those hirelings are afraid to die. And consequently they mustn’t believe the Bible that they purport to teach. The franchisees of Christo-Feminist goddess worship have become feral woman serving Beta-male factories, that take men and repurpose them into fearful losers who are always hearkening to women. Even germs scare those losers of the culture wars, and they run away social-distancing to try to save their own skin, running like cowards from an overhyped flu strain.
As a real follower of Christ I’d like to repudiate that nonsense and state for the record that their cowardice does not represent Christ who willingly died for us. Those of us who have God’s Spirit living in us do not need to fear death. The same Spirit that raised Christ from the dead lives in me. Though I die, yet shall I live.

    1. The truly sad part in that video is that the parishioner really seems to think that some demonic priest, masked like a bandit, along with an obese cop, can cut he and his son off from Jesus Christ. And in a way the priests job is to satanically intervene keeping men from directly serving their true head, Jesus Christ,(1Corinthians 11:3) and getting them instead to pay tribute to the Great Whore of Rome, the Mother of Harlots. The Protestant churches all around us, are just the daughter churches born from the Catholic church, the Mother of Harlots, during the “reformation”. They are younger temporarily reformed sluts, but now they have matured into full blown whores, eager to outdo their Catholic mother’s adulterous exploits. Whereas their Catholic mother church lawlessly sold indulgences to commit sins like adultery, today the whoring Protestant churches give out, for free, lawless indulgence for all women to divorce and permanently remarry into adulterous relationships. Although they may not deify Mary as a co-equal co-redemptrix with Christ, they have created their own effeminate “Buddy Christ” whoring after their own likeness, in their own image, peddling His forgiveness and approval of unrepentant lives.

They still falsely teach the adversary’s woman-worth-ship/goddess worship and that women are images of God the Father and Son and their united patriarchal Spirit. They teach that God is a hermaphrodite spirit equally imaged by both men and women, just like it was formerly taught that Christ and Mary equally imaged the fullness of the Godhead.(Colossians 2:9) They teach the doctrines of demons, in the likeness of the Great Whore who bore them. While the Catholic church got rich while making orgy with the kings of the earth and getting drunk on the blood of the saints. The Protestant daughter churches now pursue after every common whoremonger and offer to violate themselves with them for free to try to please the whole world, storing up for themselves enmity with God, and Christ the Bridegroom.

2 Corinthians 6:17 Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you.

I couldn’t have said it better.

I mentioned on your blog a while back that since the original church’s founding, there has been a cataclysmic event within the church once every 500 years. The Protestant “Reformation” was the last one, which started exactly 504 years ago, so we’re right on schedule. We’ll see what ultimately comes out of the current turmoil.

More than that, we’ll be part of fighting the whore churches that prostitute themselves with the world, and part of calling the elect to repent of many of their false beliefs.

      1. That’s a good question. I don’t see any one particular event in the Sixth Century that stands out as a turning point, so maybe that period is the one exception to the “500-year Theory” Assuming this to be the case, and if I had to hazard a guess as to why, it could have been because the church as an institution founded on the witness of Christ was still a relatively young entity at that time, barely 500 years old. The Council of Nicea was only a century and a half past at that point, so the church was still growing into the practices, doctrines, and creeds established by that body. There simply had not passed sufficient time for any serious contentions to arise within the church that would lead to any form of major turmoil.

Anyway, that’s just one man’s semi-informed opinion. I could be dead wrong and am overlooking something that should be obvious. I stand corrected if I am, and hope that someone will point out the error so that I can be properly informed.
